01

Evidence Before Repairs

We don't swap parts hoping something fixes it. Every recommendation is based on evidence from testing — not assumptions or shortcuts.

02

Specialist Equipment

Autel MaxiSys, Launch and Pico oscilloscopes, plus manufacturer-level system access for JLR, VW/Audi, Peugeot/Citroën, Fiat and more. Equipment and information access are chosen to suit the vehicle and the investigation.

03

Clear Communication

Written findings after every session. You'll always know exactly what was found, what was tested, and what the options are — in plain English.

The Garage Other Garages Call

When trade garages hit a wall — electrical faults they can't trace, modules they can't programme, intermittent issues they can't replicate — they call us. We're the specialist behind the specialist.

The Right Choice When

Fault Won't Go Away

Warning lights keep returning after repairs elsewhere, or the same issue keeps coming back.

Intermittent Fault

The fault doesn't show up consistently — we're equipped to investigate with data logging and oscilloscope analysis.

Electrical Suspected

Battery drain, unusual electrical behaviour, module issues or wiring faults — this is our speciality.

Warranty Reports

We don't deal with warranty companies directly. We produce a full, honest diagnostic report and written estimate — you submit the claim yourself. Our reports are detailed, accurate and built to support your case.

Trade Referral

Other garages refer their most complex faults to us. We're the garage that other garages call — for electrical faults, module issues and anything they can't resolve themselves.

Need Clarity

You've been told diagnosis is required. We give you clear, honest answers based on testing — not assumptions.

We're Not Salespeople.

We're a garage and a business — but we are not sales-driven. We won't upsell you work you don't need, recommend parts on a hunch, or push you into decisions before you're ready.

We take time to explain what we've found, why it matters, and what your options are — in plain language, without pressure. You leave understanding your vehicle better than when you arrived.

Our reputation is built on honesty, reliability and telling the truth — even when the truth is "you don't need to spend anything right now."

Honest Diagnosis
We only recommend work that testing confirms is necessary. No guesswork, no fishing for faults.
Clear Explanations
We explain everything in plain language — what we found, what it means, what we'd recommend and why.
You Stay in Control
No work is carried out without your agreement. You decide what happens next — always.

28 Years. One Standard.

I started in automotive diagnostics in 1998. Since then I've worked across independent workshops, fleet environments and specialist vehicles — and I've been running Autodiag in Rugby since it launched. Every job that comes through this workshop gets the same treatment: properly diagnosed before anything is recommended, clearly explained before anything is approved, and carried out with care.

RMI Academy trained. Manufacturer-level system access. Motor trade insured. VAT registered. And the garage that other garages call when they're stuck.
